When you go to make a purchase on our payment page, you are redirected to our reseller FastSpring's website. Your software code and company name are not sent using cookies but via an encrypted (https) URL and form data. Third Party Webhosting
======================
We do not host our websites on our own servers, we buy third party commercial webhosting space.
We use UK based companies called "namesco" and "hi hosting". Their privacy statements are

We automatically archive server logs at the end of each stats run every 24 hours for the legitimate purpose of detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized system access, and ensuring the security of our systems. We automatically remove the previous month's archived logs from our webspace at the end of each month.
GDPR consent

As of 25/May/2018 we are forced by EU law to ask anyone from an EU country or the EEA area wishing to make a purchase, for their consent for us to store details about them and their purchase.

Data we hold about you when you purchase our software

When you purchase our software we receive an email from our software reseller FastSpring with details of the purchase.
We also insert a record in our online database. The online record contains your company name, email address and licence-link url which are all encrypted fields along with the software code, the software type, the purchase date and if your link has been clicked. We store absolutely no financial information whatsoever.
We keep these purchase emails on our local computer for a period of at least one financial year after which they are archived onto an encrypted backup drive and then deleted from our local computer & email server.
Details Stored Indefinitely As Part Of Our Necessary Commercial Activity

We store these purchase details in our local computer database. We store the purchaser's name, the company name, email, software title, software codes, purchase price and purchase date. We do not store your company address or any financial information whatsoever, neither do we store your IP.
These database records are stored indefinitely as they are a permanent record of your purchase, this then enables us to issue replacement software codes in the future should you need them.
Email conversations between us and customers and potential customers are stored indefinitely in our email inbox to enable us to provide better technical support, but may be deleted from time to time as deemed necessary.
We have put in place commercially reasonable and appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.
In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees who have a business need to know.
Details Stored Temporarily As Part Of Our Necessary Commercial Activity

When you click the licence link that we send you after purchase it updates our online database to reflect that it has been clicked and downloads your licence.
Your company name, email address and licence-link are encrypted in this database.
We delete these records from our online database after a period of 6 months. After this period you would need to contact us again if you need the same licence again.
What We Do With Your Details
============================
We do not have a mailing list.
We do not perform any marketing activity with your data whatsoever and we do not divulge any of your data to any third party whatsoever.
We do not contact you ever unless you contact us. (EXCEPTION : within a short period after purchase we may email you if you do not click the licence link, we will resend the licence to that email address as it may have gone in your spam folder).
Data we hold about you when you download our trial software
===========================================================
If you download our software we store the software title, your ISO country code & date of download in an online database. We do not store any other info and we do not store your IP, it is totally anonymous. We use this simply to monitor download activity. These records are periodically deleted and are not kept on a rolling basis of more than 12 months.
Trial Period Permanent Online Versions Of Software
==================================================
We also have software that makes a date check to our server during the 60 day trial period.
When you first start the software, it stores the software code and the start date in an online database. Subsequent times the software is run it updates the new date, the times used and the days used. We do not store your IP or any traceable info, it is totally anonymous.
After the trial period of 60 days is over, the software will stop working and will only run in a reduced capacity.
If you make a purchase, the software will automatically download and install your licence. After this, the software will not make any more checks to the server.
If you should accidentally delete the licence out of the installation folder then further checks will be made again automatically by the software and for a period of 3 months the licence will automatically be downloaded again (and again checks to the server are stopped when the licence is installed).
After 3 months the purchase record is deleted and you would need to contact us for the same licence code if you accidentally deleted it.
Details of software codes that are not purchased are never deleted except at the discretion of the management.
