If you choose to set dnc4U up so that you have separate directories for send and receive files, file synchronizer lets you easily see files in both directories side by side. Its a real pain keeping track of which files have been modified, here you can easily see which have been modified and then compare the two.



Files that exist in the receive directory on the left hand side are checked to see if they also exist in the send directory on the right hand side. If they do then you can perform a file compare between the two. You can then update the file to become the master file or just send it to the recycle bin.



If the file does not exist it is grayed out. You can decide to send the file to the recycle bin.
